Henrique Ralheta
BACK TO ORIGINS
He was born in Loulé in 1975. With a degree and post-grad qualification in design from Lisbon University Architecture Faculty, his work includes product and environmental design, curatorship and set design.
He teaches theatre and environmental design at ESAD in Caldas da Rainha.
He is the director of “Loulé Design Lab”, the focus of which is promoting and boosting traditional arts and their relationship with design.
He has worked with many directors and choreographers, and regularly collaborates with the “Amarelo Silvestre” Company in the field of set design.
He was the creative director in Industrial Design and Environmental Design at Brandia Central.
His career has involved stints at “Experimentadesign”, “JR Consultores” and “Miguel Vieira Baptista”.
His work is represented in Lisbon’s “Museum of Design and Fashion” collection.
