Miguel Amaral

INSPIRED BY THE FORGOTTEN CRAFTS

Miguel Amaral, a design student (ESAD Matosinhos) won the two categories of the “Innovation prize in weaving techiques” promoted by the TASA Project in 2018. That’s how and when he began to develop projects with the artisans of the TASA network. Co-author of the Two o Three project, created together with Inês Silva, Miguel is inspired by ancient techniques and forgotten crafts, believing that it is possible to revitalize its story through the connection with the design.
